What's happening around DOGI, DRC-20 and DogeOS.
Messages in the DOGI Telegram group state that the technical side is ready and that the team is waiting for mainnet to go live. They also note that liquidity bootstrapping is the main open point, with no liquidity commitment from the community yet, and list a day-one setup: DAO, swap fees redirected to the DAO, LP creation and staking. No mainnet date has been announced.
A Laika co-founder outlined a plan for a DOGI/DOGE pool feeding the treasury, a DOGI DAO, ve(3,3) staking and a DRC-20 ↔ DogeOS bridge. Initial liquidity target: around $100k.
For now, Dogecoin doesn't verify DogeOS proofs itself. The bridge relies on valid proofs plus signatures from DogeOS validators and a TEE signer.
The Chikyū testnet gives Dogecoin an EVM-compatible app layer. Early builders include BarkSwap, Superposition Finance, Derps, Split Markets and USDoge.
With Chikyū, developers get the docs, the official bridge, a testnet DOGE faucet and the L2Scan explorer. Mainnet will be announced after further milestones.
DogeOS spotlighted BarkSwap, a ve(3,3) DEX built for memecoin liquidity, launching alongside the testnet.
The team behind the MyDoge wallet raised $6.9 million to build the app layer for Dogecoin.
Two months after deployment, the fair mint completed and DOGI's supply was sealed for good.
